The Eagle River
Located in the Vail Valley, this class II-III rafting trip is good for those guests who are looking for more than a scenic float trip. During spring run-off (May-June), the Eagle River can be a roller coaster ride with fast paced and continuous whitewater. Once run-off subsides (July), the Eagle becomes a fun, busy rafting trip perfect for beginners who wish to challenge themselves.

  • River rating: Class II-III
  • Season: May through early July
  • Trip length: Full day or Half day
  • Drive time to river: 1.45 hours one-way
  • Lunch: Offered only on full day trips

The North Platte River (Northgate Canyon)
Winding through the majestic Northgate Canyon, the North Platte River trip is a true wilderness journey where it is not uncommon to see bald eagles, black bear and elk in their natural habitat. We are the only permitted outfitter out of Steamboat Springs to offer this trip and for those who wish to participate, you must be in good physical condition and have some paddling experience.

  • Trip Length: Full day only
  • River Rating: Class II-III (class IV at high water)
  • Season: May-early June
  • Drive time to river: 1.45 hours one-way
  • Lunch: Served riverside on the rocks above Stovepipe rapid
