Yampa River through Steamboat Springs

Another great trip down the Yampa. Even at low water, the Yampa is a great float. We've been bring our inflatable duckies along for guests who want a bit more action.

Cross Mountain Canyon at big, big water

Now is the time to raft Cross Mountain- our best big canyon, big water rafting trip. For the next few weeks, we'll be running this Class IV trip so come and get some.

This is one of the top raft trips in Colorado.

The Charlie's hole at 500 cfs. A nice level for park and play kayaking on the Yampa. The D-hole isn't very retentive, but the C-hole is perfect.

Yampa River float fishing through downtown Steamboat Springs at 450 cfs - huge pike this time of year as fish are pre spawn and hungry.

There are some large fish in the Yampa River.

The Yampa River thorough Cross Mountain Canyon is rising steadily and now is reaching the 2,500 cfs level. It's holding some big hits and probably the best level to run this canyon in a raft.

Back on the river again in Cross Mountain Canyon at 1140 cfs - A technical level for Class III+/IV- whitewater.

Our first trip on the season came early this year as we ski powder one day and raft on the melting snow the next.
